Yoga Anatomy Workshop

Learn to practice with increased safety and precision by increasing your understanding of the internal body while in Yoga asana. In this workshop you will learn the skeletal and muscular anatomy of the shoulders, back, hips and knees. There will be an emphasis within each area discussed on the application of the information to Yoga asana practice.
- Compare and contrast the shoulder girdle and the shoulder joint
Learn the four quadrants of the hips and how to create effective hip sequences
- Understand the relationship between the knees, feet and pelvis in Yoga asana
- Learn the five motions of the spine and the muscles that are stretched within each motion.
